Discount Brokers Tapping Into Web 2.0

In the Thursday edition of the Wall Street Journal I ran across the headline, "Managing Your Money In Public View". It was a well written expose on how various sites are now offering a sort of MySpace for personal finance.
I never thought that anyone would want to share their financial health with the world, but alas, it is so!
Users of these sites, which include Geezeo.com and Wesabe.com, can link up their bank accounts to their site profiles for all members to see. The idea is to motivate a community whereby members can seek each other's advice and discuss personal finance tips.
Small discount brokerage sites, such as ZECCO.COM
and TradeKing.com
allow investors to showcase their portfolios to all members! In fact, ZECCO.COM, which is promoting its $0 trading offer, calls itself an investing community.
What's next, a Web 2.0 community for credit card holders?

Seems like an interesting concept. I look forward to seeing how it all plays out.
